Over twenty years I've had the chance to land breakthrough ideas alongside great teams. I led strategy for Nintendo and Pokémon which makes me cool in the eyes of my kids' classmates. At the height of athleisure wear, I was part of lululemon's small team for market entry in Hong Kong and Shanghai. As Head of Strategy at MetaLab, I helped designers grow from UI into product and venture designers, and Fast Company named us one of its Top 10 Most Innovative Design Companies. Along the way I've worked with celebrities, family offices, futuristic startups and governments to unlock that next big idea.
I've helped teams across North America, Latin America, China, Japan, Indonesia and India. At the heart of my work is a long obsession with how emerging technology can amplify the scarcest human resources of all, creativity and critical thinking. It's a question I explored in depth for my Master of Applied Arts and have carried into my PhD. I wrote Staying Human for friends, clients, and my kids, to help us unlock our best human qualities alongside AI.
